Position

The products have been making for decades a difference in the international market. They are keen on maintaining and improving their market leader position. The Product Manager is a member of the innovation team which is focussed on the needs of the customer of tomorrow and will increase the worldwide growth and profitability.

Responsibilities:
-Create a long -term roadmap for product development .
-Make sure the product development projects are delivered according to plan.
-Implement new technologies in the organisation.
-Put together plans that support the growth of production lines on all continents.
-Support regional offices all over the world.
-Carries out analyses in order to advise the management team.
-Gather and prioritise the needs regarding product improvements and developments.

Offer

In this position you will be playing a crucial role in the strategic development of the production line. You interact extensively with all departments in the company, with the regional offices, customers and suppliers. Our client’s intention is to offer you a permanent contract middle term, with a great package. You have the right to a total of 40 annual leave days, PME pension scheme, flexible working hours, a good compensation of your travel costs, and a relocation fee for candidates who live further than 80 km away. A monthly gross salary up to € 6250, depending on your education and experience.
Possible future roles you could aim for are: product manager with a broader scope, a senior management position in sales, product management or new product development.

Position requirements

-A completed master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Maritime Engineering or other related studies.
-Knowledge of rotating equipment.
-Experience with product development processes and market analyses.
-Good knowledge of English.
-You visit regional offices, you attend conferences and fairs, meet customers on an average basis once a month.
