As an Automation Engineer at BAADER Doesburg you’ll work on renewing and (further) developing high-tech machine lines for the food industry. There are many opportunities regarding automation within the existing and upcoming products to make them ready for industry 4.0.
You are involved from design (Siemens) to prototype testing. You can also visit international customers or test locations. You will work together with an international automation team and experienced colleagues in the multidisciplinary scrum team in Doesburg.

As an Automation Engineer in Doesburg you will continue to develop the existing machines in the field of automation. You work on the product portfolio of the future together with EPLAN draftsmen, mechanics, engineers and project managers. You have a lot of freedom in your role on how to implement sensors, program PLCs and in applying new improvements that you see.
BAADER has an advanced range of machines that can process raw food into usable end products with high accuracy and at high speed. The machines are mechanically at the highest level, but there are still many opportunities in the field of automation. With your knowledge of PLCs (Siemens) and various vision sensors, you are able to make the machines 'smart'. For example to make automatic alignment possible to allow for higher efficiency or speed.
In the Netherlands you work together with more than 20 people in various multidisciplinary development teams. Internationally, 1200 people work and there is already a lot of in-house knowledge in the field of automation. You have the freedom to apply this knowledge to the product groups that are developed in the Netherlands.
